Hladky's Policies and Expectations

1.  Students will not be allowed to bring backpacks to class except for during study skills.

2.  Students will not talk when Mrs. Hladky is talking.

3. Students should not touch or get into anyone else's belongings unless that person gives permission.   This includes everything on the teacher's desk, computer table and lab tables.

4.  Students are expected not to hit, kick, punch, poke, slap or make fun of any other students.

5.  All homework must be completed and turned in at the beginning of class on the date that it is due.

6.  All homework must contain the student's name and what the assignment is.  If this is not included, the students will not receive credit for that assignment.

7.  If the student is absent from class, it is the student's responsibility to find out what the assignment was and turn it in the day after he/she returns.  The student has the same number of days that they are gone to turn in missed homework.  If it is not turned in within the number of days abwent, work will be considered late and given half credit.

8.  Students should be in their seats and have their homework that is due out when class starts.  Students are considered late if they are not in their seats when the door shuts of the teacher begins class.

9.  Students must come to class prepared.  This means that the student should have their book, assignment, paper, agenda and writing utensil with him/her everyday.

10.  Each student will be given 2 passes to leave class each quarter.  Students may leave only during times of indepentent work.  Passes that are not used may be added to grades as extra credit.

11.  When homework is given, students are expected to quietly work on the assignment.  If the student finishes before the class is dismissed, they are expected to do other homework, or read a book quietly in their own seat.

12.  Student are expected to stay silent all throughout quiz and test times unless addressing the teacher for help.  If a student decides to talk, this will be considered cheating and they will be given a 0 for that grade.  This also applies after they have turned their test in and others are still finishing.

13.  Students caught cheating or copying will be given a 0 for that assignment and will not be able to make it up.14.  Students should leave all science equipment in the room alone unless told to use it by the teacher.
