March 12th through 18th has been designated as Teacher Appreciation Week. This is a time when we as students should recognize our instructors by expressing our gratitude.
Today's educators not only teach the basics ( the three R's), reading, writing and arithmetic, but also transmit knowledge about principles, perception, example and experience.
They seek to encourage you to think for yourselves, and also to face the disagreeable consequences you may sometimes run into.
Several school organizations have planned various activities in honor of the week. So let's all get involved and plan sometimes special for these special people.
