JODI TROSCLAIR


        "Busy" is the word thst best describes senior Jodi Trosclair. She loves disco, partying, being a student teacher for dancing, shopping, spending money and being with Jodi Lirette.

        Jodi was a member of the 1976-77 Carnival Court and also a member of the 1978-79 Homecoming Court. She was third runner-up and winner of the Creative and Performing Arts Award in the 1978-79 Junior Miss Pageant. She has also been a member of the H. L. Bourgeois cheerleading squad for the past three years.

        During her sophmore year, Jodi was a member of the Gymnstics and Future Medics Clubs. She has been a member of the Sprirt Club during her junior and senior years. This year she is a memeber of the FBLA and Explorer Post 400 Clubs.

        In the future, Jodi plans to attend Nicholls State and major in Fashion Merchandising. Later she plans open up a dancing school.

        "All I can say is that I'm ready to gradute and go to college," commented Jodi.


SAM VOISIN


        Weight lifting is the number one interest in the life of senior Sam Voisin. He spends practically all of his lunch hour in the weight room with Mike Calder, Leslie Minter and Mike Marcel. He has worked himself up to 270 pounds on the bench press, lifting it five times in a row. That is currently the heaviest weight lifted by any HLB athlete.

        Sportswise, Sam is very active. He has been on the HLB football team for three years and lettered two of the three years. He carried the number 55 and held the guard position for the team.

        At HLB, Sam served as a duke on the Homecoming Court and he was a former member of the FCA Club.

        Going see his girlfriend, Kerry, is another main interest of Sam's. Afterschool and on weekends, Sam also enjoys participating in almost any kind of sport. Pets are another thing Sam is fond of.

        Future plans, as of now, are not definite, but he plans to get a joboffshore after graduation. In the future, Sam hopes to become a professional body builder. "I plan to join local contests, that may lead to national recognition," said Sam.
