The Professional Staff travel allowance is an employee salary benefit paid to help defray the costs associated for holiday travel from our isolated community.

  1. For the 2008-2009 school year, Professional staff, their spouses and their dependants will receive the following allowance to cover the cost of return airfare between Wollaston and Prince Albert:

Single:    One payment of $500.00,  to be paid three pay periods before the Christmas Break or the Easter Break.

Family:    One payment of $1000.00, one to be paid three pay periods before the Christmas Break or the Easter Break..

   2.     Staff are responsible for making all their travel arrangements, bookings and payments for their travel.

   3.    Staff may use the travel allowance for either Christmas or Easter travel.

   4.    Any other travel by Professional Staff, other than at contract commencement and contract completion, will be at their own cost.

    5.    The travel allowance is not accumulative
