Eatathon 2000(Funding)

The club organised Eatathon 2000 on the 18th of March 2000.It is our major fund raising project.The objectives of organizing this project is to build 2 pathways for the school.In addition, the money would also be used to subsidize welfare and medical expenditures for our school staffs and students.The event started at 5pm.Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interactors from SGI attended the function.Our organising chairman and funding director Interactor Lim Khai Yen delivered his welcoming speech.It was followed by the President of the Rotary Club of Taiping, Rotarian Duncan Raj's speech and school Senior Assistant of Student Affair , Mr Tan Kee Huat.Interactor Lim Khai Yen was the highest contributor with the amount of RM170.The second highest contributor was Interactor Lye Soo Yin and the third was Interactor Chuah Chong Gian.Presentation such as dance and sketches were also presented by our Interactors.There was also a lucky draw.All participants were happy and went home at 7.30pm.from the project, we managed to collect a total of RM8063.96.
