Birth & Death dates were obtained from the Waldrop Family Cemetery at Coosa Co., AL., and from the Bible of James Lewis Waldrop Sr. C.S.A.

According to records of U.V. Waldrop, David Thomas Waldrop was married in Randolph, Bibb Co., AL. Book "E" p. 155.

He was married to Samantha Elizabeth SMITH (daughter of Joseph SMITH and Tempestous "Tempie" CRUMPTON) on 19 May 1856 in Jasper Co., GA.. Samantha Elizabeth SMITH was born on 8 Jul 1830 in Randolph, Bibb Co., AL.. She died on 13 Nov 1909 in Randolph, Chilton Co., AL.. David Thomas WALDROP and Samantha Elizabeth SMITH had the following children:
