1802 May 18 --- Deed Book "H" p. 309 Newberry Co., SC. Elijah Waldrop to Wm. Anderson JR. 138 acres on Carson Creek, original grant to James Waldrop now dec'd. and willed to me Elijah Waldrop by said James Waldrop... Witnesses: Charles Griffin and Elisha Waldrop.

1813 --- Will file #58: 141:1458 Estate Number 7, dated 1 Feb 1813, proved 3 Apr 1821 Newberry Co., SC., John Johston and Charles Griffin, Witnessed. Proved 30 Apr 1821, Box 58, Pkg. 141. Compiled by Blanche Davidson, Genealogist of Newberry Co., SC., 1952. .Legatees named: wife, Jamima, and son Archibald. Daughters: Mary Garland & Rebecca Gary. NOTE: Elijah Waldrop's Will dated 1 Feb 1813 proven 30 Apr 1821 in Newberry Co., SC. Box 58, Package 141, Estate #1458. Jemima was the widow of Charles Griffin.


1820 --- Census Jones Co., GA

He was married to Jemima in 1805. Jemima was born about 1785 in S.C.. She died in Apr 1873 in Davidson Co., TN.. Jemima Griffin was the widow of Charles Griffin.

1878 --- John Johnston, executor of the will of Elijah Waldrop wh died 30 Mar 1821. In derelict settlement of estate of Elijah Waldrop made by E. P. Chalmers, administrator, de honis non in 1878 after sale of 300 acres, tract of land willed to Jemima (wife) 1813, during her lifetime. The distributies listed were:

Archibald Waldrop 1/3 share
Rebecca Waldrop Gary's children: 1/3 share viz:
George W. Gary, John K. Gary, Ephraim F. Gary, Nathaniel Gary, Elijah L. Gary, Francis M. Gary, DAniel L. Gary, Mary Gary Hammond. Elijah K. WALDROP [Twin] and Jemima had the following children:
