Horse:
You receive the horse in your first month on the farm. Barley comes up to you in the morning and asks if you want the horse. Choose yes and the horse is yours. The horse was very unhappy so talk to him everyday. Also when you can get a brush from Saibrara buy it and use it on your horse everyday to make it happier.

Chicken:
You buy chickens at the poultry farm for 1500G. After that you can incubate chickens from the egg that it lays. When the egg hatches it's a chick. It should become a full grown chicken in 5-7 days. You have to feed the chickens and let them out everyday or else they get mad or ill. You have room for four chickens at first but when you get the extension you can have eight. Each normal egg sells for 50G.  

Sheep:
Sheep are bought at Barley's ranch for 4000G. To shave their coats you need sheers which you get from Saibara. To take care of them talk to them and brush them everyday. Also you need to put some fodder in their box. To make a sheep pregnant you need to buy a sheep miracle potion from Barley. In almost a month a baby sheep will be born. When the mother is pregnant you can't shave it.  

Cow: 
Cows produce milk everyday for large quanities of money. They are bought for 5000 G at Barley's Ranch. Before you buy one it's a good idea to have a brush and some grass in your field to keep them. Everyday talk to your cow and brush them so they like you more and later on give better milk. To make a cow pregnant buy a cow miracle potion from Barley. Your cow will not give milk during this time. In less than a month a calf will be born. At first you can only have 8 cows, but with the upgrade you can have 16.
