FLYING TIGERS

One day while I was reading the newspaper, I came across a headline
that caught my attention. It was talking about The Flying Tigers,
and my first thought was 'Matt Hawkes'. And then I read and found
out a bit of information that I'd never known: that the Flying Tigers
were a fighting force of American volunteers, many of whom were former
military personnel, who flew and crewed a small number of obsolete
planes into war against Japan in WWII. They had a fantastic record of
success before the group was shut down.
