JESSE'S CABIN

In the pilot, Jesse's cabin is surrounded by snow. We get very few glimpses of the cabin itself, and the glimpses we do get are brief. The cabin looks like it's made of stone, with a wooden door and some wooden structure near the door.	In the series, Jesse's cabin seems to have a personality of it's own. The front is detailed with carved tree limbs and stout wooden posts. There is a small porch area with a couple of steps, and a wooden doghouse for Ding sits on the porch. The front door leads into the living room. There's a small railed porch on the back. It has a couple of steps. The back door leads into the kitchen. There is a fenced-in area next to the house for Jesse's and Cody's horses.

Jesse's original cabin is more than one floor, as seen by the simple staircase in what appears to be the living room. There are lots of books on the shelf, and a small sewing machine next to the window. There's a fireplace and what looks to be a cupboard or small refrigerator in a dresser. There is artwork on the wall, and the walls are painted a warm orange/brown color.	Jesse's series cabin is very different in appearance. The living room is painted a cooler yellowish color. There is artwork on the walls, which in the hall and bedroom appear to be paneled or wooden. Cody's bed has a small wooden bedframe, and Jesse's has an intricately carved headboard and footboard.
Surroundings	Surroundings
In the pilot, the first time Jesse is seen, he is inside a sauna/sweatlodge down the hill from his cabin. This building may still be present in the series, but it can't be seen from any of the aerial shots.	Jesse's series cabin is located next to a lake, perhaps Lake Jen(nifer). The top left edge of the first surroundings picture shows the proximity of the lake, and the second image shows the lake, as Jesse has just left his cabin in that shot.
