• Highland County Library Home Educators Get Together
  Home Educators of Highland County and surrounding areas are invited to come get to know each other! There will be activities for the whole family:
  • Young children will meet in the children's section of the library (lower level) for a special story time and activity.
  • Older children will meet on the lower level to learn more about the library and its computer system.
  • Adults will meet on the upper level to meet other home educators in an informal setting.

  INSTRUCTIONS: Meet at the First Stop/Citgo Gas Station on St. Rt. 68 in Fayetteville at 9:30am. We will go as a group. Bring your own sack lunch.

• Trip to The Glass Refractory Recycling Station, and Rumpke Landfill
  DATE: Friday, October 13, 2000
  TIME: 10:30a; 12:30p
  PLACE: Georgetown, Ohio
  INSTRUCTIONS: Meet at McDonald's in Mt. Orab on St. Rt. 68 at 9:45a. We will go as a group. Bring a sack lunch. The Glass Refactory at 10:30, lunch, and Rumpke Landfill at 12:30p

• Michael at Family Christian Stores
  On Saturday, October 21, Michael will be at the Family Christian Stores Eastgate location to answer guests' questions about homeschooling from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. (He jokes that it's a "booksigning." He hasn't written a book, but he'll sign any book you bring him!) At that time, he will also be pre-registering people for a Home Education Workshop sponsored by Family Christian Stores on Saturday, November 4 from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
