She has a fair complexion and stands at 5'7", while weighing some 140 lbs. Her build is considerably lean and she has a diminutive chest, but she doesn't mind these details. Personality: Confident, chatty, and full of energy but just short of bubbly. She smiles frequently and is almost always in a good mood. Young but passionate about her recently discovered craft, her strong personality tends to not only overshadow, but upstage her brother's personality as well. She doesn't mean to, though-- as a matter of fact, she always means to perform goodly acts for others. She likes being around lots of people, because it means a chance to make new friends. Elyna is only beginning to become aware of her attraction to both sexes, but she's okay with it since she already sees everything as a new adventure anyways. History: The second offspring of five children, she was born as a weyrbrat to a greenrider and a brownrider. At the age of twelve, around the same time with her siblings, their parents decided it was time for each of them to learn a useful trade. Much to her relief, she wasn't apprenticed to the looms as her younger sister had been, or to the glasscraft Master like her youngest brother. Instead, she was assigned to the WeyrHealer, and was one of the two of her siblings who were allowed to remain at the Weyr. The others were forced to seek their apprenticeships at the nearby Holds. Elyna proved fairly adept at cataloguing herbs and memorizing their usages. She even showed a good bedside manner for ailing patients. But it was apparent that she would never gather enough skill to walk the tables as a journeyman-- not that her teacher minded much; help was scarce at times without Elyna. Then, in her second turn as an apprentice, to many's surprise, Searchriders pointed her out as Candidate material as she was listening to her brother practice his lute in the weyrbowl one day. She was amused that the dragons would want little ole her, but she was more than happy to comply to their request that she stand for the hatching. Well, that High Reaches clutch didn't yield her a lifemate, or one to her brother, who had also been Searched. Both readily agreed to be transferred to Silver Shores, which was the Weyr estimated to have the next clutch. She's enthusiastic about seeing more of the world, but more than a little nervous about how well she'll fit in among complete strangers.
