Character Name: Niamh (Pro. Nee-am) Character Age: 22 Physical Description: Niamh has light strawberry blonde shoulder length hair and light green eyes with amber flecks. Her height is imposing, she stands at about 5ft 10" and has a lithe, athletic figure. She has light, almost unnoticable criss-cross scars across her back. Personality: Moodswings used to be a big thing for her, but she has learn't to control them better, though she can have her bad days where she will sit and brood for hours until her beloved dragon snaps her out of it. She has a very dry sense of humour, sometimes don't know whether she is being serious or not. She try's to be a people person...going about the Weyr and getting to know everyone, she has got better at it in recent turns and has started to enjoy it aswell!! She gives all her energy over to the Weyr and her dragon, and does her upmost to ensure to safety and comfort of the people in it. History: Niamh was born and raised in Keroon. She is the daughter of Fisherman Liam and his Wife Nafalah. Her early days started off happily enough...her father was quite wealthy and her and her mother never wanted for nothing. When she was 4 turns old her Mother died birthing her younger Sister Lilah, and her father took it very hard, he began to drink too much wine every night, and Niamh started hiding herself and her younger sister in the cellar to get away from his rages. Things carried on like this for a few turns until at age 7 turns her father announced he was getting married again to a daughter of his harbour master, she was much younger than him and called Tarellia, everything got alot better for the girls...Niamh's father tryed his best to stop drinking and Tarellia was lovely, she bared Liam a son, Tariam, and things went back to relative normalicy. Untill Tariam at aged 3 was struck down with a fever that nearly took his life...thankfully i didn't but it did take his sight and hearing, Tarellia was devestated,but thankful to still have her little boy, though this was the breaking of Liam, and the numbing wine called him again. He started beating Tarellia and one night, when Niamh was 13 she tryed to stop her father beating her step-mother and got a lashing in her place...this never happened again though as one night before her father got back from sea...Niamh and Tarellia laced his wine skins with fellis...and when he was sleeping they snuck out with Lilah and Tariam and ran away to Igen Weyr where they had a dragonrider cousin. Niamh and Lilah both stoods on the hatching sands at Igen...Niamh was 16 and Lilah was 12...and they both impressed, Niamh impressing Green Bellath, and Lilah impressed Green Alyrath. Niamh has recently transfered to Silver Shores Weyr.
