Character Name: Ruena Character Age: 19 Physical Description:    Ruena is tall and dark, with straight, very fine black hair that reaches her mid-back and deep yellow-   green eyes. Her skin is pale, and her eyebrows are thin and arched. She has a slim runner's body and   long legs. She likes dark coloured clothes and doesn't mind showing off her unconventionally   beautiful body. Personality:    Ruena is a bold, confident girl. She has a lot of presence, and her height only adds to it. She speaks   when she has something to say, and she'll listen when she isn't talking. Ruena likes to run. She   keeps in shape by running her hold's canines every morning, and she will not let heself get lazy or   overweight. She likes to see people happy, and she can't stand it when the atmosphere is tense. Sue to   her intense harper training, Ruena makes sure her chores and responsibilities come before anything   else, and she intends to keep it that way. Ruena likes being in the company of others, and she adores   dragons. History:    Ruena was born and raised at High Reaches Hold. She never liked the cold, but put up with it because she had no way of leaving. Her parents were harpers, and she was raised to be a harper herself. Her parents and the hold masters were very strict, and they trained their young soprano to be the perfect   harper. She was taught how to sing properly, how to play every instrument they had access to, and how to record all of the tunes that floated around in her head. She was their best musician, and even though   she made Journeywoman at age 16, Ruena wasn't happy at the hold. She wanted more than anything to get away from the overachieving attitude, and she made up her mind to leave the hold in hopes of becoming a dragonrider. The next bluerider from High Reaches Weyr that stopped by agreed to take her to Silver Shores Weyr, where canidates were needed for a clutch with a gold egg, and Ruena intends to remain there whether she Impresses or not. She is a large gold and will most likely out-grow all of the bronzes in the weyr.
