Persona name: T'lannt Persona age: 22 Dragon Name: Mnorroth Dragon Age: 6 Transferred From: Fort Weyr Persona Physical Description: T'lannt is not terribly impressive physically.  A slight man, he is about 5'9" and slender.  His hair is black, and his skin tone is sort of olive, rather Greek-looking. His features are sharp and angular, with a prominent brow and a dignified-looking profile.  He has a slight roman nose.  His eyes are dark brown, large, and expressive, which contrasts interestingly with his otherwise severe countenance.  His habit of frowning when he thinks deeply does nothing to change the impression he gives of being a moody, brooding sort.  He has actually grown considerably since Impression--it was once thought that he would never Impress due to his small size. Persona Personality Description: T'lannt is a study in contrasts.  He's a deep thinker and often preoccupied with his thoughts, but has a mischievous sense of humor and a joyful spirit.  He's a good leader, commanding the respect of other riders and their dragons when in a leadership role, but tends to be a bit of a loner at times (though very social at others).  He tends to be somewhat moody overall and susceptible to occasional depression, though Impressing Mnorroth has stabilized him quite a bit.  Most of all, he's intelligent and adaptable.  His main areas of weakness are disorganization and a hatred of hidework.  He also knows some really reprehensible Harper songs. Persona History:  T'lannt hails from the Harper Hall.  His mother, Tynelle, is a Hall vocalist, and his father, Naterro, is a maker of fine instruments. T'lannt's childhood was relatively happy.  He was a musically talented youngster, a tolerable instrument-maker and a really good vocalist.  He also learned to play several instruments while there, though he has a preference for the lap harp.  He has three sisters and a brother, all younger than himself.  Several ancestors were Searched and Impressed, so when young Tunatel was Searched, it was no great shock to his family, who proudly sent him to Fort Weyr in hopes that he would be found suitable to do his duty to Pern as a dragonrider.  Fortunately, he was indeed found suitable.  He stood at two Hatchings, and at the third one, he Impressed a huge dark bronze Hatchling named Mnorroth.  During a swimming excursion on a Southern Boll beach with several friends, he located a flit clutch that was hatching.  He Impressed a tiny blue flit and the one gold of the clutch.  He served at Fort for a number of turns, but due to the nasty breakup of a long-term romantic attachment, he feels the need for a fresh start and opts to transfer to Silver Shores. Dragon Description:  Mnorroth is a very large, dark bronze dragon.  He has the odd habit of playing with words and making rhymes.  More verbal than most dragons, he tends to keep up a running commentary when awake.  He's very playful and likes any kind of a challenge.  Mnorroth, being large, is not terribly maneuverable.  He has had to learn to compensate for this by thinking ahead and learning to use between to get where he needs to be.  He is a reasonably quick flyer, and has tremendous staying power.  He is somewhat leggy and has large wings and an unusually chiseled head. Flit Descriptions: Opal is a small gold flit, rather reddish-gold.  She's a bit of a "couch-tuber", liking anything soft and becoming quite possessive about whatever she considers "her" personal garments or sleeping spots.  She also likes shiny things and will do just about anything for a bead.  She likes Mnorroth tremendously and is usually with him if not with T'lannt. Trill, as his name implies, is musically inclined.  He has matured into a deep-chested medium-sized blue with a slightly teal-flecked royal blue hide.  He is very cheerful and always playing in whatever water he can find.
