The Siberian Tiger
Latin name: Panthera tigris altaica (Known to Russians as the "Ussun" or "Amur" tiger after the Amur River)
Length:- Males: 9 - 12 feet(4m) 
             - Females: 7 .11 feet - 9 feet. Largest oof all cats!
Weight: - Males: 419-675 pounds.
              - Females: 221-368 pounds.
Diet: Deer, boar (wild), elk, lynx, bear and also smaller prey such as fish, rabbits and hares.
Habitat: Eastern Russia, northeastern  China and northern North Korea.

Sumatran Tiger

Latin name: Panthera tigris sumatrae
Length:- Males: Average 2.4m(8 feet)
             - Females: 2.2m(7 feet) - Smallest subspeecies!
Weight:- Males: 120kg (264 pounds)
             - Females: 90kg (198 pounds)
Diet: Many species of deer and wild pig.
Habitat:  Found only on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. 400-500 wild tigers live on the island's 5 national parks and 235 Sumatrans live in zoos around the World.

Indian or Bengal Tiger

Latin name:Panthera tigris tigris
Length: - Males: 8.8 feet-10.2 feet
              - Females: 7 .11 feet - 8.7 feet
Weight: - Males: 419-569 pounds
              - Females: 221-353 pounds
Diet: pigs, deer, antelopes and buffalo.
Habitat:  The Bengal tiger is native to the Indian Peninsular. It also lives in Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Bhuton and in Burma. The Bengal tiger is endangered from loss of habitat.  It's estamated that less than 3,000 Bengal tigers are left in the wild.

Indochinese Tiger

Latin name: Panthera tigris corbetti
Length: - Males: Average 2.7m(9 feet)
              - Females: 2.4m(8 feet)
Weight: - Males: 180kg(400 pounds)
              - Females: 115kg(250 pounds)
Diet: Cattle, deer, pigs. 
Habitat: Thailand, Myanmar(Burma), Southern China, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and the Peninsular of Malaysia (remote forest,hilly or mountainous terrain).

South China Tiger

Latin name:  Panthera tigris amoyensis
Length: - Males: 2.5m (8 feet)
              - Females: 2.3m (7 1/2 feet)
Weight: - Males: 150kg (330 pounds) 
              - Females: 110kg (240 pounds)
Diet: Cattle, deer, pigs.
Habitat: Central and eastern China.

Bali Tiger (EXTINCT)

Latin name: Panthera tigris balica (Bali tiger was believed to have become extinct in 1937.)
Length: - Males: 7.3 feet-7.7 feet
              - Females: 6.3 feet-6.11 feet
Weight: - Males: 198-221 pounds
           - Females: 143-176 pounds
Diet: unknown
Habitat: Island of Bali.

Javan Tiger (EXTINCT)

Latin name: Panthera tigris sondaica (The last Javan tiger was seen in 1972.)
Length: - Males: 8.1 feet
              - Females: unknown
Weight: - Males: 221-311 pounds
              - Females: 165-254 pounds
Diet: unknown
Habitat: Island of Java.

Caspian Tiger (EXTINCT)

Latin name: Panthera tigris virgata (Probably became extinct in the 1950s.)
Length: - Males: 8.8 feet-9.8 feet
              - Females: 7.11 feet-8.6 feet
Weight: - Males: 374-529 pounds
              - Females: 187-298 pounds
Diet: unknown
Habitat: Once lived in Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, Mongolia, and the Central Asiatic area of Russia.
