Greetings Researchers and Art Lovers!
In case you haven't been following the 2000 crop circle season, here's one you have to see to believe! It was reported on 22 July near Wiltshire.
Not since the "Julia Sets of 1996" have we seen such precision, scope and imagination. The diamonds of grain that form this fractal pattern make it look like it was stanped in the ground with a huge cookie cutter.
The full report is yet to follow, so we have yet to find out if this pattern shows anomolies like chemical changes in the plant cells and unknown energy signatures, not to mention a distinct lack of evidence showing human presence in the field. But even if this is just a coordinated attempt by skilled "crop artists", it's still moves one to contemplate the potential of our creative aspirations.
In the blow-up picture you can count about 15 people standing around amongst the diamonds. Now imagine these people and perhaps even more working flawlessly in the darkness of night to cut out all these shapes so perfectly.
It's truly mind-boggling! It makes me feel so good I had to print out a color copy and hang on the wall by my desk just to look at again and again!
