Resource Guide at the Hernando Library
A fabulous resource guide FULL of information about home schooling has
been compiled and placed in the Hernando Public Library. It contains information
about the Hernando/Nesbit Home School Support Group, home schooling in
Mississippi, and home schooling in general, as well as documents that can be
copied and samples of home schooling magazines.
It is considered a reference book and cannot be checked out. Ask the librarian
to see the Home School Resource Guide. Aside from the Resource Guide, there are
many books and a video about homeschooling that are available.
Homeschool Kit at the Library
The Homeschool Kit from HSLDA has been
placed in the Hernando Library for the benefit of new or prospective
homeschoolers. The publication, YOU Can Homeschool! is available
free and is located at the west side of the library beside the bulletin
board. If you ever notice that the library is out of this publication,
please ask librarian Diane Davis to order more free of charge from HSLDA. |
