MCR-II PRESCHOOL
LEARNING READINESS
PHILOSOPHY & COURSE OBJECTIVES

PHILOSOPHY

Every child has the ability to learn.  It is the intent of the MCR-II Preschool program to provide an environment conducive to the developmental needs(cognitive, social, emotional and physical) of each child.  This is done through a variety of discovery activities which will enhance language, math, science skills, and fine & gross motor development.  Since children grow and develop at different rates, they will be provided opportunities to discover and learn at their own pace.

It is the goal of the program to promote each child's individuality, by helping them to develop self-esteem and the awareness that they are unique individuals.  The program will build on each child's talents and strengths, and encourage positive self concepts.
