I'm Kris(my nic is Hoarse), a 28-year-old female
Bon Jovi freak. I live in Sydney, Australia and I'm the editorial co-ordinator at B magazine. I live at home with my Dad, brother Mike and our cat, Valentino (no prizes for guessing why that name!). I also have a sister, Jen,
she's married (to Jim, they have two sons, Billy who's 6 & Andrew who's 2).
My mum passed away in November, 1998 after battling cancer for four years.
We'll never forget you mum!

On to my 'obsession'...
I first 'really' noticed the band back in 1986, while I was watching Video Hits and
Wanted Dead or Alive was played. I'd heard You Give Love a Bad Name and Living on a Prayer before but it wasn't until I saw this clip that I sat up and listened! Although I must confess I actually took a dig at them saying, "Not another heavy metal band".
But hey what did I know? I was 12 years old and listening to Whitney Houston,
Lionel Richie and John Farnham.
After that it took a cute boy, I met on a family picnic to play me a cassette which I later found out was
Slippery When Wet. After that I was well and truly hooked!
Since then I've managed to collect anything and everything I can lay my hands on. Be it official or not, I want it and try to get it. I own all the official albums including solo works. One of my fav items is my
Slippery When Wet LP with the original cover (yes, the banned Japanese cover) which I picked up at a record fair, for $60.
Bargain if you ask me!
