Game Reviews

I am a fan of a newfangled form of entertainment known as "video games," specifically what is often referred to as "console video gaming." In this form of gaming, some sort of device is purchased and then affixed in some way to your television. These devices are known as gaming consoles or gaming systems. When the console is attached to your T.V. in the proper manner, you must then purchase a video game that is compatible with the system and correctly place this game into the system. Then, after activating the system with the game inside and turning on your television to which the system is hooked up, you are able to manipulate occurances and events via a device that plugs into the front of your system of choice known as a "controller." Although this all sounds very complicated, it is actually in reality very easy to set up, understand, and operate with just a little practice. However, there are many nuances which make gaming the enjoyable and interesting pastime it is.

For example, although video games are in general easy to learn, well-designed games take much skill and practice to master. Also, there are a tremendous number of different games to purchase, all in different genres and all having different levels of quality. This variation in quality is what has led to the common practice among the gaming community of rating different video games according to their particular merits. Much as with movies, most video games that are released are subsequently reviewed by numerous individuals, who then publish their opinions to the world in order to help the consumer, bewildered by the extensive selection of games to choose from, decide if a certain game is worth his or her hard earned dollar, yen, rupee, or whatever other currency may be in question. Again, this process may seem confusing, but in reality it is simple enough for anyone to understand.

Oh - and if you bothered to read all of that, I am mightily impressed. Here, you win a prize: some reviews!
