There are four different recognized (or traditional) ragdoll colours:
Hobbit-Dolls Martina,
blue mitted baby
Seal - dark brown points with fawn coloured body.
Chocolate - medium brown points with ivory body.
Blue - dark grayish blue points with light gray body.
Lilac (frost) - light pinkish gray points with very light
ivory body.
There are three unique recognized
coat patterns:Colourpoint - dark mask, ears, legs and tail, the rest of
the body is light.
Bicolour - dark mask, interrupted by a white,
inverted "V" down a line through the eyes and sweeps towards
the back of the chin into the bib (ruff), dark ears, and tail with a
lighter body colour. The legs, feet, chest and stomach are also white.
Mitted - dark mask, ears and tail, with a lighter body colour, white chin and bib as well as white front paws (known as "mittens") and white back legs (known as "boots"). There is also a white stripe running from under the chin, down to the chest and to the tail.
In 2005 also red, cream and tortie colour as well as tabby pattern were accepted in FIFe.
Full maturity of size and colour are not to be expected for at least
three years (and sometimes when you think a Ragdoll has finished growing,
it grows some more, as ragdolls can continue to mature for up to four years).
