Chapter 5 CO: what the hell do you think you were pulling back there Megan: nothing why CO: god- damn it you shouldn’t have left Megan: I needed to get away from everything CO: like hell you will you will never do that again or your out on the streets Megan: if you don’t leave now then I’ll fire you CO: oh I’m scared you don’t have your boyfriend to help you this time Megan: like I said if you don’t leave then I’ll get security CO: when after your lying here half-dead He grabbed her arm and shoved her into the studio that was sound proof. She started fighting and the CO was beating the shit out of Megan because he knocked her head on a metal stand. Justin just happened to wake up and go look for Megan Justin: Megan are you in here Megan: (faint) help me Justin looked around and finally found Megan’s head was bleeding and she had bruises all over. Justin: who did this to you Megan: my CO Justin: ok hold on Megan be strong Justin used his cell phone to call security up front at the gates to not let the CO out. Then they called an ambulance. Megan was talking to Justin the whole time.   Megan blanked out at couple minutes before the ambulance arrived. About an hour later everyone was sitting in the waiting room to get any news about Megan. Megan was severally injured. She had a major blow to the head and her knee was busted again. Megan was lying straight in her room. Doctor: is there a Justin Timberlake Justin: that’s me, what’s going on Doctor: I have some information about Megan for you Justin: and… Doctor: she is in critically condition Justin: what else Doctor: she had a major blow to the head so that’s why she is in crucial condition and her knee is busted again Justin: will she be all right Doctor: we believe so Justin: will she be able to dance again Doctor: I can’t tell you that Justin: ok thanks can I see her Doctor: only at 2 at a time Justin: thank you Everyone decided that Justin should go in by himself first Justin: hey Megan, I know you probably can’t hear me Megan: yeah I can Justin: your awake Megan: yeah but my head is killing me Justin: I love you Megan: I love you too Justin: I can’t imagine my life without you Megan: either can I Megan was in the hospital for the next 3 days. The press ate it up real quick. She had gone to court the next week and Megan’s CO was found guilty of manslaughter. Megan was going to release announcement. Make- up coded her face with 50 pounds of make- up to make the scars unnoticeable but her leg she would have to deal. She was in a wheel chair to help her leg heal Manager: Megan will be here shortly Megan: hello Reporter why were you missing Megan: I left to figure out my life up to this point and I did and I figured many things out. I didn’t intentionally mean to scare anyone and if I did I am deeply sorry. I went somewhere for 5 days to think and I did I got things straightened out Reporter: are you still going out with Justin Timberlake Megan: yes I am and that’s why he’s here today to support me Reporter: why were you in the hospital for 4 days Megan: I can’t go into detail about this because my lawyer advised me not to but my CO- CO manager abused me and I pressed charges and he was found guilty Reporter: what happened to you Megan: I had a major blow to the head and I have a busted knee Reporter: will your album still come out on time Megan: yeah it will and I should still be able to do things Reporter: can you dance again Megan: not for while but the doctors have confidence that I’ll fully recover Reporter: so what’s now Megan: I will relax and start to plan the tour Justin: that’s enough we are leaving now, let’s go Megan Megan: I have got to go Reporter: does Justin Timberlake tell you what to do Megan: no he respects me and he is a great boyfriend Megan’s album was suppose to come out on March 21, 2002 because the date was special for Megan because that was when they told each other they loved each other and it had more signifangences because of their relationship. Megan recovered but still not fully recovered by her record release and she was sad because she was going on her own 9-month tour. Megan’s album went platinum the first day. She sold 2 million copies the first week just barely missing Nsync’s record. That tour went great and it was a great year and it was time for Christmas again. Justin and Megan’s relationship is going strong without many arguments. Kevin and Jen tied the knot just after the record release. Megan had a great year and Megan had surgery on her knee and by December she fully recovered. Everyone had exchanged gifts and Megan and Justin would do it together alone up in the special place where Megan left a year ago to go. It was a special place to go. Megan gave Justin’s gift first and it was a necklace with Nsync and Megan’s name on it to show united. She also made a photo book from when they first met till now. The last gift was Megan’s uncut unreleased CD to Justin it had many things on there that were just for him to hear. Justin had given Megan 2 pieces of Jewelry and a special yearbook of everyone until now it meant the world to Megan.
