Pictures of the Mega Battle part 2

 

A wall of goblins and fanatics halt the advance of the shambling horde. Note: The yellow can in the middle is actually a symbol of Gork and Mork. No really !!

Early part

In the main table during the early hours the Orc horde stood there ground while the Wood Elves rained arrows of death on there enemy only to see them rise up again thanks to the powers of necromancy.

Over at the dwarven tunnels the chaos forces arrayed there gropped at each other in the dark trying to look for an advantage to use against there enemy. Boths side's performing feints and counter feints neither wanting to commit till the last possible moment.

Chaos forces were barely holding on against the combined might of several lances charging headlong, regardless of the snow on the field.

Bobby was taking 2 lances with griffon support against a lone regiment when he charges in, Wiping it out in a mist of gore and broken lances and then wheeling back to charge the remaining units from behind.

At the marshlands the orcs headlessly surged forward through the sinkholes mindless of the casualties while the Lizardmen army skirted around them shooting poisoned arrows and spitting corrosive acids at them. The two giants manage to get clear from the swamps and headed into the main table while the rest of the army got "bogged" down.

Mid game

On the early part of the mid hour of the game the main table remained static. The orcs aside from there goblins held steadfastly while the wood elves skirted around the undead formations. The khemri chariots were chasing down scouts and rangers all over the table.

The Wood elf general lands on the tower and begins hurling its magical spear at the undead while the Orc's Giant smashes the bunker on the other side of the table.

Late Game

The bretonnians finally crush the chaos unit force at the mountain pass and head for the main table. Due to the refused flank strategy of the undead, they arrive at the table unmolested. They head for the left flank of the undead and proceed to wipe out anything that it charges, including the Tomb king and his chariot unit.

The two Orc giants arrive from the right of the table but the rest of the Orc units are wiped out. The entire host of the Lizardmen army snapping at there heels. By the time they arrive however it is too late as the entire Bretonnian flanking army reach the objective with the clock winding down. Team A had won the second mega battle !!!
