Autumn Leaf This is my second try at a medium sized vase. The handle IS functionable, but I wouldn't use it without holding the bottom up as well. It is a beautiful dark metalic color on the outside and a mellow dirt brown color on the inside. The foot of the vase is signed by yours truly and glazed the same metalic black. A large crack occured on the second firing, it actually accents the piece do to antique color scheme. (makes it look authentic) |

Grass Snake This was my first real glazing that I spent any time at all on. I used a iron glaze called blue caprice on the blue stripes, the dripping color is a darker green I overglazed in order to give it a drooping appearance. The inside is a very nice royal blue that blends well with the other outer colors. I probly got the most compliments from this than any other piece so far. (keyword: so far) |
