Several years ago I stumbled across an instant messaging program called ICQ. The program was fun, allowing me to communicate with people from around the world. My friends started getting ICQ and our nightly ritual of meeting to chat on ICQ began. At first it was just when someone was home sick, but it soon became our meeting place on nights when we couldn't get together. I even use it to talk to my boyfriend at night so we don't tie up his phone line (he has a cable modem).
But quickly the ugly gray default started to strain my eyes. That's when I found ICQ plus, a program which allows you to customize the look of your icq browser. It wasn't long before I wanted to make some pretty skins of my own. This is why I created my own skin page.
