| To: Mrs. Isenberg's Class From: Miss Peters' Class We have sent Mac to Oklahoma and I just heard from your teacher that he made it safe and sound. Mac had a great time while he was here in Byers! He went to PE, Art and Music with us. Also, he met Taz and Nico-they are our other Beanie Friends. In Byers, our school is kindergarten through 12th grade. We are a rural school with 450 kids altogether. Byers is located on the Eastern Plains of Colorado, about 30 miles from Denver. So far this year, our class has learned how to read "shor" books, count to 100 and write a lot of cool stories. Mac liked to help us druing reading groups-he is a great reader. He also went to our Christmas concert and sang a beautiful bird song for everyone! Well, I hope you have a great wee and I can't wait to hear about Mac's other adventures! Sincerely, Miss Peters |
| January 16th Hello from Moore, Oklahoma. We just received Mac today and are so excited to have him in our classroom for a visit. He will get to participate in our author study of Jan Brett and help us build our own community. Maybe we can name in after Mac! Mac will go home with Mrs. Coulson tonight and then visit each of our students' homes. We wanted to let you know that Mac has arrived safely from Colorado and is ready for some new adventures.
