Nov. 1 - Junior and I rode his scooter in the parking lots, then we ate dinner. After dinner we played some games, then we took a bath. We watched TV, then we went to bed.

Nov. 2 - I left from school with Kasey's sisters and we went to buy their grandma a present and then we went home and then we watched TV and then we went to bed and woke up and ate cereal and then we brushed our teeth and then we left.

Nov. 3 - Today I went to Jessie's house. We also went to his Grandma's house. There I got to meet his brothers Ryan and Kyle and his cousins Anthony and Jeremy. On Sunday Jessie says we will celebrate his birthday and go bowling but that his real birthday will be on Monday. Saturday Jessie says we will go to his AAU basketball game in Granger and then to Zillah to watch Kyle play basketball. Then we will go spend the night at Jessie's Dad's house.

Nov. 5 - Today was Jessie's birthday party. He had cake and ice cream and went bowling. The best part was cake and ice cream.

I'm sorry-I forgot to put down the date on some of my journal entries

-- We went to Wal-Mart. We rode the scooter. We raked the leaves. We watched TV.

-- We went to Kasey, Kori, and Kelsey's jazz class. Then we went swimming. We all got really hungry, so we went back home and ate. We had a lot of fun.

-- Visiting Alex - I was at Alex's house. First we watched television with each other. And then we went out to eat. When I got home, then I played with Sarah's lap-top. Then we went to bed. Mac.

-- Ivan wrote this for me:
Mack visited my mom and parakeets and my pokemon. We played tag with Scooby Doo and I showed Mack to Vince, Veronica, and baby Mario Angelo. We had fun.

Nov. 21
Hi! This is Mac. Today I'm at my friend Aaron's house. We are going to his cousin's house to play basketball. It started to get late, so we are going home. Now we are playing with his toy cars. I think my friend Aaron is tired because he is getting sleepy. Yup, I knew it! Cause now he is asleep. So good night everyone.

Thanksgiving Vacation
Well, I had a nice visit with all the kids at St. Joe's. We did a lot of work reading and writing and doing math. The other day we made Apple Burritos. Here is the recipe:

You need flour tortillas
  Margarine
  Apple pie filling
  Cinnamon
  Brown sugar
Put butter (margarine) on a tortilla. Put some apple pie filling on it.
Sprinkle one tablespoon of brown sugar and some cinnamon on it. Roll it up
and put it on a baking sheet. Bake it at 350º for about ten minutes.
Boy were they good!

On Wednesday morning it snowed a little. Mrs. S was worried because  after school let out at noon we were going for a trip. We drove to Portland, Oregon to pick up her son Justin at college. The weather was better along the way. We stopped and she showed me The Dalles Dam on the Columbia River.
The Columbia River goes through Washington and forms most of the border between Washington and Oregon. It has lots of dams which make electric power and make it so that barges can carry goods up and down the river. We got home from Portland very, very late. Then I had to have a bath. I had gotten kind of dirty during the times I spent with the kids. On Thanksgiving morning we went to Spokane. The roads were pretty icy, so we went very carefully. In Spokane we had Thanksgiving dinner with Mrs. S's son's family. I got to play with her granddaughter Masha. Masha is almost
one year old. Masha's mom is from Russia, so Masha understands English and Russian, even though she doesn't even talk yet.

Lots of kids at St. Joseph's speak English and Spanish, so I have become
quite a linguist.
  Good morning---English
  Buenas Dias - Spanish
  Dobre Ootra - Russian
  Vanakem
That last one is hello in Tamil. Mrs S learned it when she visited India
this summer.

It was a nice dinner and we stayed the night at Masha's and came home the next day. I helped Mrs. S with some stuff and we didn't get to the Post Office. So I went to church with her this morning. When we were leaving church a lady asked Mrs. S if she always carried a cardinal in her purse. So
Mrs. S introduced me.

Tomorrow I will leave Sunnyside by the fastest post. I will miss the kids here and they say they will miss me. They sure took good care of me. Can't wait to get to Colorado!

     Love, Mac
