| Oct. 2 Today I went home with Tylor. We rode the bus home. Wow, long ride. When we got home we played in the sandbox. I watched Tylor. We came in the house and had dinner. It was so good. We had corn beef, carrots, potatoes, and milk. Then we went with Fred, Tylors brother to sell stuff for his 6th grade class. Wow, long walk. Then we came in for the night. We had a bath and hairwash, brushed our teeth and went to bed. Mac Oct. 3 I went to Briana's house today and she took me outside to see the other animals. She has chickens, ducks, peacocks, turkeys, a rabbit, and dogs. Then we took a bike ride. We watched some T.V. then we went on the computer. Thanks, Briana Mac Oct. 4 Hi today I went on the bus to Luke's house. When we got home, I had worms for a snack while Luke had his snack. Luke and I played with his toy monsters and then had chicken, cauliflower and potatoes for dinner. I made a pitstop at the bird feeder for some seed. I met Luke's two brothers Sam and Anthony. Dad won't be home till later so I'll miss meeting him. Tonight we played Mouse Trap and read for a bit. I met Pete, Luke's Zebra Finch, he's really cool. Luke is really nice to me, I'm gonna miss him-but look forward to tomorrow's adventure. Love, Mac Oct. 5 We played Hot Wheels. Ian built me a nest and a birdhouse. We played with Lego's and Waffleblocks. I had dinner with Ian and his family. Ian ate meat, peas and rice. We cleared off the table. Then we all snuggled together on the couch and watched a scary "Goosebumps" movie. Ian and I went to sleep in Ian's cool room. Ian has a leopard gecko in his room! The next day we got and made breakfast for Ian's mom. We treated her to breakfast in bed! Then we watched T.V., played all day and did some chores. For the rest of the weekend we just played around and had fun. Ian brought me to church but then he left me at home when he went to Sugarbush Farm! I guess it was o.k. that he left me home because when Ian came home he was really muddy! Bye, Ian I had a nice visit. Love, Mac Oct. 10 I went home with Katie today. When we got to Katie's house she had to get dressed for soccer practice. We had a bagel and juice because we were hungry. I went with Katie and her dad (the coach) to practice. I had to stay in the car because it was cold and damp. Soccer looks like fun. I wish I could play. When we got home Katie and her sister and I played on the computer for a while and I helped Katie practice her spelling words with her mom. We also read some books. We had a yummy apple before bed. I am glad I came to Katie's house. Your Friend, Mac I will miss Mac. Oct. 12 Last night I went home with Steffen. We had fun playing with his three older brothers, Shaun, Cody, and Christian. We listened to CDs in his room. He threw me up in the air and caught me-whew! Steffen has one dog, Zen, and two cats, Jasamine and Ginger. Ginger's a brand new kitten. They are getting ready for Halloween and putting out decorations. There is a witch, a skeleton, pumpkins, rats, signs, spider webs and ghosts. I had a good time and hope to go back soon for a visit. Mac Oct. 25 Mac Arrives in Washington! It was a very long trip to Washington state. I arrived safely. I was very good on the trip. I am being good at school, too. I am visiting St. Joseph School. It is in Sunnyside, Washington. The children I am visiting are in first grade. It is a Catholic school. The children learn about God here. They do reading and math and writing, too. They learn Spanish and P.E., too. They wear uniforms. I will tell you more tomorrow. Tonight I am going home with Mrs. Sharman. Love, Mac Oct. 26-- At Mrs. Sharman's house I met her cats Nosox and Hugh, and her dog Babe. They don't get along very well. I helped Mrs. Sharman make some quilt blocks. Today I sat with Aaron in the morning and with Ruby and Brenda in the afternoon. Aaron took me out to recess. It was cold, so I stayed inside his sweater. I went to Brenda's house because it was her turn to take care of me. I played with her brother and with her many games. October 27-- On Friday Oct. 27 I went home with Belinda and met her family. I played with her brother Oscar for a long while. later that afternoon we went shopping and had dinner. On Saturday we all helped clean the house and waited for our company to arrive. I met her aunt, uncle and cousins from Seattle. We went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant and boy was that food good! We took Belinda's aunt to the mall to go shopping. Later we had dinner and just sat around and talked. On Sunday we had a good breakfast and did some more shopping. Then it was time to say good-bye to her family. We went out for some pizza at Pizza Hut, came home and watched TV, then went to bed. Oct. 30-31-- I stayed the night with Hector. He has a little brother. We went to the Halloween carnival after school. There were lots of games and prizes and a haunted house. The kids all had really neat costumes and there were lots of kids at the carnival.
