HAPPY BELATED CANADA DAY and HAPPY EARLY INDEPENDENCE DAT! I trust you all are having a great summer so far! I know I am! :o)! For the long weekend we spent it at Mark's cabin (our usual summer getaway) and we had tunnes of fun. His cabin is at a beach, so there were many people out and about (we had +34 celsius weather for our weekend!!!) and we made some new friends with his neighbours, while we were all playing beach volleyball together. So I'd like to take this opportunity to make some quick shout-outs to Aimee, Kris, Erik, Nathin, Amber, Donovan, Kelly, and Sarah. You guys rock, and we look forward to hanging out in a few weeks together! We won! We rule! Tehehehehehe! My grad (prom) was so much fun. We partied until 5:00am with all our school mates, and then we went to an after party at Cat's house. We kept on partying until noon. It was somewhat sad to know that a lot of these people I will never see again, but I guess that is life! The damn Wings won the Cup. I for one was not happy. I didn't even get a chance to watch any of the games anyway, but I would have much rather seen the Canes win it. Oh well. Too late now! Mark watched it and said it was rather boring, so I guess I am somewhat glad that I had to miss it! ;o)! Work at the camp is so much fun. I love working with all the little kids! It's been so much fun. The only thing I loathe is having to be up at 5:30am every morning to make it to the arena for 6:30. But Mark and I are having so much fun working with all the kids. Well, I believe this is long enough 4 right now so bye!
Bye, |

This is gonna be a short one. Thank you to everyone for sending me all those sweet birthday cards! I appreciated it! I had a wonderful birthday! A lot of my friends came over to our apartment and we had a small celebration there. I loved it. Only a few more weeks until I graduate. I finally did get my dream dress. It's light purple, and it's strapless with a flowing skirt. It is so pretty. I love it and cannot wait for grad. Oh an I also dyed my hair. I got more blonde highlights woven through my already blonde hair. It is nice, I like it. Well the Avs and Leafs are out of the playoffs. Boohoo. I am now rooting for the Canes because I really cannot stand the Wings (with Mr. Arrogant himself Brett Hull ... sorry to his fans!) And well quite frankly the Wings are WAYYYY overpaid, I think it's about time the Canes, who are younger and seemingly much more talented win the Cup. GO CANES. Well have a good summer everyone! ENJOY! Later all, |

Humm.... it's been a while hasn't it? Me and Mark have celebrated our 2 year anniversary together. He took me out for supper and bought me 24 roses (one for every month we've been together) and he got me the sweetest necklace. It's a locket with our pictures in it. It's been so great having him in my life. I could never love someone as much as I love him! He means the world to me. Anyway, I've been really busy. I've been working a lot. It's not actually that bad. I mean, I actually don't mind my job. That Sunday that Mark came home was such a relief for me. I was really missing him. When we picked him up from the airport, we all went out for brunch, then me and Mark came back to our apartment, and just spent the afternoon together snuggling and watching movies (we watched American Pie I and II, and Zoolander.) He seemed to have a great time there. He took like 5 rolls of film. My 19th birthday is in 3 days. I cannot wait. Mark is cooking us a romantic supper, and then we are going to go out and maybe see a movie, or we'll just go hang with some friends. Well, I have homework to do, and then I have to go to work, so bye darlings! Bye bye bye,

I thought this day would never come this week. T.G.I.F. is all I have to say right now. Mark will be home in two days. I cannot wait. Their flight comes in at 10:32am or something. I am planning to go with his parents down to the airport. He's been gone since last Friday. Since we've been going out, we've never been separated for this long. I know it's only been a week, but having someone there every moment of your day practically, and taking them away for a week, its sort of weird. Anyone else love that new Eminem song? I love the beat to it. HOT 103 (a radio station here) plays it constantly. It's a really good song. Sort of funny too. I have to babysit tonight, so that is what I'll be doing. How much fun is that I ask?! I think I'm going to take the kids shopping with me. I don't really have time to go shopping tomorrow (like I had planned) because I have to work yet again. One of the girls I work with is supposedly going to a wedding (I say supposedly because 2 weeks ago she pulled this same thing. She said she had a wedding to go to, so I would take her Saturday night shift for her). Well, it's 1:45pm (I am actually skipping class.... shhh.... kids skipping is NOT good!) and I think I am going to go have a quick shower, finish up my sciences homework, and then maybe go visit my parents and go eat supper there (it's my moms famous chicken stirfry night) yummy .... Adios, |

Hmm... how is everyone this fine day? My teacher said she really liked yesterday's diary entry! No complaints! YEY! I didn't get around last night to having that bath I had wanted too. I ended up talking on the phone for 2 1/2 hours with Brett. He was having a tough time with a couple of things, so I [tried] to talk him through it all. I have to work tomorrow night (oh yey). I was planning to go shopping because I need some new sandals, and a new bathing suit. But I guess I'll postpone that until Saturday afternoon. 4 more days (yes I am counting down!!) and Mark is home. I really miss him. In exactly 12 days, we've been going out 2 years. Can you believe that? Then in 17 days, I turn 19. Mark's already 19 for those inquiring minds! Nothing good was being served in the cafeteria today during lunch, so I took Brett out to McDonalds for a Big Macs. I am not really a big fan of them since my bout with food poisoning a while back. So I picked Brett's food up and then I dragged him to Mr. Sub so I could get my Cold Cut sub. We went back to my apartment and ate there, then Brett had to be back at school, so I drove him there, and my class was cancelled (my teacher had an unexplained excuse for canceling the class, but I wasn't complaining.) so I came home, and took a much needed nap. I fell asleep at about 1:00pm, and I didn't wake up until 4:06pm when a ringing phone woke me (it was my mom seeing if I wanted to go there for supper). I feel so refreshed now though. So it's all good. Let's see what do I plan to do tonight. I have social sciences homework (joyous occasion), then maybe I'll drop by at Mark's parents place and say hello to them (I haven't seen them since Friday). So bye darlings! Ciao, |

Well, today I am starting this diary for my computer & english classes. I am actually still wondering why in the world I have to do this, but hey, it's a simple enough task, so I guess I shouldn't complain right?! I was up at 10:30am this morning (I sorta skipped my working class in my social sciences class ... oopsies!). I set my alarm last night before I went to bed (actually I was in my boyfriend's bed sleeping because he is away on a trip for his visual comp. class) and I didn't set it properly I guess. What do you expect, it's not my clock. I miss Mark. He's called twice during the past 3 days telling me that he's missing me (aww..) :o) but he won't be home until the 5th of May. It's been really quiet in our apartment without him there. My mom has been over a few times in the past couple of days. She's too funny. I am debating what to get her for Mothers Day. Jenna brought her rugrats Brendan and Meghan over. I am babysitting them on Friday night, so Jenna and Ryan can get some time together. School was boring today. No surprises there! In the cafeteria today they were serving some Pitas and some mac and cheeze. I opted for the Pitas. They were really good today! I left school at 2:10pm. Then I came home, grabbed some snacks (pudding, coke and a popsicle), watched some TV (Headline News ... how exciting) and then I came on the computer to update my page (hockey's best) and started this assignment. Pretty soon I plan to have supper, then I've got some Computer stuff I have to figure out (oh yeah) and then I'll probably have a nice long bubble bath and read a good book! Later all, |
