Welcome
to
Hockey's
Best!
This site is
dedicated to the extremely talented hockey stars; Simon Gagné, Bryan
Allen, Brad Stuart, Andrew Ference, Brenden Morrow, Roberto Luongo, and
Mike Van Ryn. These guys may still be rather young (it depends on what
you consider young ...), but they all are EXTREMELY talented! They all
helped Team Canada win a silver medal at the 1999 World Juniors in
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and they are all going on to eventually
become NHL superstars!!!
Brenden
married, I'M ENGAGED!!!!, My plans for this page
and everything else,
etc. July
26 2002, is the day Brenden and Anne-Marie were
officially married. Congrats! They went to Tahiti
(I think) for their honeymoon!!!
Yes
you have heard right. I am engaged! Oh my gosh. It
is so wonderful! :-D August 13 2002 is the day he
proposed, our 2 year, 3 month anniversary. My
wonderful boyfriend (or shall I say fiance?!) took
me to a ritzy hotel (the Fairmont in the heart of
Winnipeg), rented a room, so we went out for
supper, and when we came back to the room, a
hundred red and white candles were lit all around
the room, and 2 dozen red and white roses were
sitting on the bed. I was just thinking it was
just because, (he's a romantic, so I never
expected him to propose like this), but then he
lead me over to the window ... we stepped out on
to the balcony, and first he hugged me, and told
me he loved me, so we went back inside the room,
and he pulled a ring box out of his jacket, and
got down on one knee. It was the most amazing
night of my life. I am so happy!!!! We are not
planning to get married until sometime in the next
3 or 4 years though. :-D :-D I
don't really know what I am going to do with this
page. I want to keep it, but I am currently
working fulltime, and I don't have much time for
anything. I think I will keep it, and probably
have monthly updates. Or something along those
lines.
Summer
plans for me and the Hockey's Best players,
off-season,
etc. Well
well well. Not much longer until I graduate!
Finally! Anyway, I will be working all summer. At
my current coffee-shop job, and at the summer
sports camp again. As for the Hockey's Best
Players, Brenden and Anne-Marie will be getting
hitched sometime in the month of July. As well,
Andrew and Krista will also be getting married in
July. Congrats to both couples!
I
am now officially rooting for Carolina. I hate the
Wings! GO HURRICANES! I
hope you all have a wonderful summer. I will
probably only update this page once or twice more
until the beginning of July. So take care everyone
and have fun!
Bryan Allen & Simon Gagne's seasons are over,
Morrow & Team Canada,
etc. The
Canucks lost their series to the Detroit Redwings,
4 games to 2. So Allen's season is now officially
over. He'll probably be back in Kingston chilling
out and golfing over the summer. Gagne, and the
Flyers lost to the Senators, so his season is over
too. Canada
is 2-0 at the World Championships. Morrow so far
has 1 assist, and is wearing, surprise surprise
jersey #10. Simon Gagne was invited to be apart of
the team when Philly was knocked out of the
playoffs, but declined citing an injury. Hmmm ....
what did he injure? He seemed fine during the game
of which their season was ended. Interesting ...
Moose out of playoffs, Bryan Allen recalled by the Canucks,
etc. Dammit!
The Manitoba Moose lost Friday night. I was at the game, and admittedly it was a
good game. They
lost though. :o( Too bad! Always next season! Good luck to the St. John's Maple
Leafs, & the Hamilton Bulldogs, the only 2 Canadian teams left!!!
Since
the Moose season is over, the parent club of the Moose, called up 6 players
including our very own Bryan Allen. Other players called up include,
Alex Auld, Mike Brown, Pat
Kavanagh, Ryan Ready And Rene Vydareny. They were called up in time for
Saturday's game, however I did not get a chance to see the game, so I don't
actually know if they've played yet.
Bryan Allen
leaves the Moose,
Poor AHL post-season attendance records,
etc. Staving
off elimination in the Calder Cup Playoffs just got that much
tougher for the Manitoba Moose. Bryan Allen, a first-round, NHL
draft pick, has left town because of a death in the family.
The Moose
announced late yesterday that defenseman Bryan Allen won't be
available for Game 3 and a potential Game 4 (if the Moose are to
win tonight). His grandfather passed away yesterday. *sniffles*
Sorry to hear about that Bryan ... :o( Seriously
what the hell is going on?! Attendance at all AHL post
season games have been poor. League
post-season attendance has been poor to date, ranging from a low of 1,295 to a
high of 5,023. What is that? I am happy to say the Moose have already sold 7000
tickets to tonight's match-up with the Sound Tigers. If they win tonight, I'll
be at tomorrow's game. Go Moose Go!
Off-season, Allen's season may be over tomorrow night (the 18th) etc. Morrow's season is officially over. I know, I know that blows! But just think, now would be the perfect time to write him a letter. During the off-season is when a majority of a player's mail is answered. So get sending those letters! Tomorrow night we will find out whether or not Bryan Allen and the Manitoba Moose will have their season extended. They are down 2 games to
0. They play Thursday night, and Friday night at the Winnipeg Arena. I know they'll win! The Winnipeg crowd is the best, and we'll help the guys win! Good luck Manitoba!!!
Morrow red & white again, etc.
Since
Dallas' run at another Stanley Cup will NOT happen this year, Morrow
will once again be representing Canada at the 2002 World Championships
in Sweden. The tournament runs between April 27 and May 11. Click
