• Download the GMEditor program from the link on the left side of the APHL Homepage.
• Run Setup.exe program and install the program in an appropriate directory.
• Download and Unzip the league files as posted on the APHL Homepage. Remember where you unzipped them!!!
• Run GM Editor
• Select “Load” Under FILE OPTIONS and locate league files. Open them.
• Teams should appear on main screen. Double click on your team and the team information window will appear.
• Here you can move players from pros to minors or scratch certain players. You MUST dress 12 forwards, 6 Defensemen, and 2 Goalies. I would also suggest you keep at least 1 forward and 1 defenseman on the “Scratch” list.
• When your roster is complete, “ROSTER COMPLETE” will appear in the upper right hand corner of the window. Double clicking on any player’s name will open the player information window.
• Exit and save changes to the roster.
• Select team lines
• Place players in appropriate slots by highlighting player’s name in left hand menu and then clicking on the slot you want him to appear in. When all boxes have been filled, select save lines.
• Make sure you set Power Play and Short Handed Lines as well!!!
• Once you select save you will be prompted for a password, LEAVE THIS BLANK!! If you place a password in there, I will not be able to use your lines!
• The Program will tell you the full path under which your lines file was saved. Email this file to the commissioner as an E-mail Attachment.
• Your subject should be something like this: [APHL] team name lines
• If you do not submit a line file, your lines will stay as they were the last time you sent lines in, unless there was an injury. In which case the computer will set lines if you don’t send them in.
