The purpose of Howard County Summer Theatre is to produce reasonably priced, family oriented, high quality musicals each summer in Howard County, Maryland. The net proceeds from these shows are then donated to various charities in the central Maryland area.

       HCST provides an opportunity for youth and adults to experience the excitement of live theatre, either on stage, behind the scenes, or in the orchestra. Cast and crew work together each summer, gaining theatrical skill while forging friendships, to bring some of the most enjoyable musicals to the community.
