Higher Openshaw Community School is also the home of Openshaw Youth, the higher openshaw youth club.

Funded by New Deals For East Manchester, Openshaw Youth gives young people a place to meet, relax, and socialise with friends.

Openshaw Youth is open every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The cost of admission is just 30p a night and all money goes back into the youth club.

The club is run for children aged 5 - 16 (Mondays and Wednesdays for 12 - 16 year olds, Tuesdays for 5 - 11 year olds).

The club is open from 4:30 - 6:00pm on a Tuesday, 7:00 - 9:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The club is also open during school holidays and the price of admission may be slightly higher to help cover the cost of swimming, cinema visits etc.
