Prior to arriving at Palmer Station Antarctica, we stopped along the way to take in some scenery. We stopped alot of times actually but that was got the scientist to perform their experiments and to drop their dirt catcher in the water to collect sea creatures and mud to experiment with. Ummm to me it was too cold to be on the deck when I had nothing to do with that was going on.
So as I stated we stopped for some photo ops, I can not remember the name of the place we stopped but here are some of the photos I took along the way some on the boat some off the boat.
This is what the merchant marine looks at to steer the boat. Notice the lat and long.
