| Second baseman Charlie Gehringer topped the team with a .330 average and 123 runs, adding 201 hits, 19 homers, 108 RBIs and 79 walks against only 16 strikeouts. |
| Outfielder Goose Goslin drove in 109 runs, outfielder Pete Fox hit .321 with 15 homers and 116 runs, and catcher Mickey Cochrane hit .319 and scored 93 runs. |
| All told, the Tigers led the Major Leagues in batting average, slugging percentage and runs scored; Greenberg, Goslin, Gehringer and Cochrane all went on to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. |
