What is Hofstra Intervarsity Christian Fellowship?
Hofstra Christian Fellowship is a part of an even larger Christian organization known as InterVarsity which serves students and faculty of colleges and universities around the world.
We are a group of students who share common bonds - a love for God and
a yearning to grow in Christ.
We participate in InterVarsity retreats and social events, while in our
chapter we fellowship through Large Group Meetings, Small Groups, Bible
Study and Prayer.
What is InterVarsity Christian Fellowship?
InterVarsity is an interdenominational evangelical organization on college campuses across the country that is designed to minister to students. InterVarsity provides students with a Christian community where they can feel free to worship God in a receptive environment.
The word "InterVarsity" comes from England, where "varsity" referred to one's school. InterVarsity literally means Inter-School Christian Fellowship.

to establish and advance at colleges and universities
witnessing communities of students and faculty
who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord:
