1. The first and foremost rule, you must be 18 or older (or at least mature enough to pass as 18). I'm not
too fond of this rule but this role play will revolve around dark subjects and I don't want anyone too young involved.

2. You need three things. A journal on blurty.com, an AIM name, and an e-mail
address. The journal and the AIM name must have something to do with your character but the e-mail can be your
personal e-mail if you'd like.

3. You must stay active. That means post at least once a week. If you do not, you will be removed and
your character will be replaced. If you are going on a vacation or moving, please notify a mod by either IMing them
or posting ooc in your journal.

4. This community will have slash storylines. That is a fact. If you don't like it, don't join.

5. All characters are allowed. Out of Hogwarts characters (ex. Lucius Malfoy, Aunt Petunia), Hogwarts
characters (ex. Harry Potter, Severus Snape), and original characters are all allowed in.

6. You are allowed to play dead characters (ex. Cedric Diggory, James Potter). But you must come up with
a storyline that makes sense and have the mods OK it.

7. If you have a serious storyline (ex. rape, torture) you must OK it with anyone involved.

8. You CANNOT kill your character or anyone else's. Where's the fun in that?

9. The journal's are not an assignment like in other role plays. It can be either your character's journal, a
sorce to role play (click here for an example), or an online journal just like it is. If you
choose to make it your character's private journal, please make a note in the subject or somewhere in the
post that it's private. You can also leave other characters notes in your posts (click here for an example).

10. It will start canon (Lucius is married to Narcissa, James and Lily are dead) but as the game plays out we will not
expect you to stay true to it.

11. On the subject of icons. It's whatever you want basically. It could be a drawing of the character, a picture of the
character from the movies, or a picture of a celebrity who you think the character looks like. Anything really.

12. The playing will go on through AIM, e-mail and journals. That's why you need all three.

13. Do not post in the community journal. That is for ooc posts and admin posts only.

14. You can be as many characters as you want. But please have some variety, don't be Draco, Lucius
and Narcissa. And do not make them all the same.

15. If you choose to make an orignial character, it can be related to a canon character. The only thing
you have to do is check with the person playing the canon character and fill them in.
