Personality: Cordelia was born of a mixed marriage. Her father was a wizard, her mother was a muggle Shortly after the war with Valdemort her father dissappeared, and is presumed dead. (more upon request- or feel free to play with it for plot) Her Mother then returned to muggle society and raised Cordelia in complete ignorance of her heiritage, even to the point of telling her that what little she remembers of her father is nothing more than imagination. She was always an out cast in school, not really fitting in with the other children. This has made her at once self reliant and insecure. She craves acceptance, but doesnt trust people in general. She began to spontaneously cast magic shortly after her 13th birthday,which has made things rather difficult at home. One such insident with the school bully required Ministry action to set to rights. It was after this incident that her mother finally told her the truth and agreed that she could attend Hogwarts. She is basicly a good person at heart, however her insecurity , her need for acceptance, and her insatiable desire tofind out more about her father and what happened to him could lead her down a darker path if correctly manipulated.
Description: She is a little old for a first year- 14 rather than 13. She is 5'3" tall, long reddish brown hair that she wears pulled back in a pony tail. She has large brown eyes that she hides behind glasses that she really only needs for reading. Quite pretty, but doesnt realize it
