She sat curled in a little ball, sinking into the green carpeting of the common room. It was my fault, she thought, I really should learn not to provoke him like I did. I know he hates it, but I do it anyway. She sighed, and a crystalin tear fell onto her robes. The common room was messy, and she knew she'd end up cleaning it up later. She always did. Several of the large armchairs were overturned, as were the tables. There wasn't a lot to damage, and she was thankful for that. He was asleep next to her on the floor. She stood up, and a searing pain shoot through her. She grimaced, I have to remember not to do that, she thought to herself. He said he loves me, she thought, uprighting the chairs and tables. He apologized, and he was sorry, I could tell. He told me he loved me, and that's what matters. She hobbled up to the girl's dorms, she knew she would make up and head to the boys' dorms later on. She looked down at her arms as she walked and noticed there were bruises forming on them. Blue roses, she thought, observing the shape. Something to remember. |
