THE TURNING POINT:
Chapter One of
Harry Potter and the Enchanted Door
*     "Ahh, Hedwig. Don't you just love gazing at the clouds? Just trying to make shapes of them? I
* * * always seem to get lost in time when I do this. The sky just seems to go on for forever.  It may be a muggle thing, but you do get used to it after a while. When I lived with the Dursleys all year round, I would just stare into the sky all day long" Harry Potter was dreamily talking  to his pet owl. Hedwig gave  a little hoot in reply of all this.
As Harry sat there, just wondering all there was to wonder about Hogwarts and it's secrets, Hedwig had begun to grow  bored, so she decided to take a little flight by herself. As Harry continued to gaze up at the neverending sky, he felt a presence, and then cold, big, icy hand grabbed him from behind! Harry couldn't scream, couldn't talk, couldn't breathe, and then.... everything went white. He could here his mother screaming " Please!! Not my baby! Not Harry!! Spare him, take me...Please!! Oh Please!!' then another voice was heard " Shutup women, I will kill you both...you both will die!!! Haha" . It was a deep, cruel voice...Harry knew the voice, he just couldn't think...couldn't breathe...couldnt....couldn't...
CRASH. Harry had been thrown at a wall. "There you go Harry, you  little brat! You trusted me, you thought I liked you! You thought I was your friend, but you were wrong!  You and the whole world!" a voice was yelling at Harry. Harry knew the voice...but couldn't think of it. As he lie there helpless and hurt, he couldnt seem to concentrate on anything but the throbbing pain in his head. His scar hurt so very baddly...and that could only mean one thing. Either Voldermot was near him, or one of his followers was. Who could it be?

  *   Loud footsteps were heard outside Dumbldores office. As his door was flung open, Hagrid came running in gasping for breath. "Proffesser Dumbledore.... -have you seen...Harry?...I really need to talk...to...him!"  "I'm terribly sorry Hagrid," Dumbledore said with a twinkle in his eye, "I haven't seen him since this afternoon. He told me he was going to the Hope Hill to gaze at the Hope Castle's cloud. Cloud Hope I think it is called, anyways he should be back soon for he has a quidditch match in an hour." " I 'uppose 'ur 'ight... I just worry somtimes, ya know?" said Hagrid in a timid voice. "Of course, Hagrid, of course" replied Dumbledore. Hagrid thanked Dumbledore and walked out of the headmasters office quietly muttering to himself. He looked very unhappy. Hagrid made his way to his hut and just as he was opening the  door to his house, Hedwig came by with a letter for him. Responsevley, he opened it and it read:

Hagrid-
You've  got to help me!! I don't know where I am... there is this weird door I can't open and Hedwig barley found me and it is getting dark... I don't know what happened I was looking at Cloud Hope and I wanted to stay until I could see Hope Castle but I was attacked and I woke up here.... it is a deep hole and if this water fall keeps falling, Im going to drown. There's also a door, but I can't get it open! Please help me!
                                   Harry

I have to show this to Dumbledore at once, thought Hagrid, I am not going up there....Harry might recognize my foot steps/  As Hagrid made his way up to the castle  another owl droped a letter  on his head.... the  letter said six words : "Not my Harry... now you'll pay". "Nooooooooooo!" cried Hagrid "How could they know, who knows!?" Hagrid was sobbing loudly now and he started to sound inhuman like an animal being terrorized.

Dumbledore ran towards him shouting "Hagrid, my dear Hagrid, what is wrong? Please.... what is wrong?"
"Nothing Headmaster, nothing..... I just... my dragon has.....umm.....died an I, umm... it just was a shock" Hagrid was wiping up tears from his bushy beard..."Nothing serious"
  "Are you sure?"
  "Positive Dumbledore"
Dumbledore had that twinkle in his eyes again, "Okay, Hagrid, just know...if you ever want to talk, i am here for you..."
