Driven by hate started in 1998,when hxc wasn’t already that big,as is it now,down in the french part of switzerland.A couple of month later,they decided to hit da road with small underground shows.The feed back was quick good,and they started to get known in da swiss scene.Their old school classic style,with big sing-a-long parts,got welcomed by all kinds of hxc people :from metalheads 2 straight-edge,they got a bit of something 4 everyone.Known as true honest band,their lyrics may be a bit rough to those they go out to,but isn’t 2 be true,the main part ofHXC ?On almost every shows,they give small local bands the opportunity 2 play in front of at least 150 people,so they could get out of da underground.Supporting everybody,from deathmetal bands to new school kids.Driven by hate got also involved in several causes,such as fighting child rapism worldwide(song RAPE-on a sampler 4 da MARCHE BLANCHE association in switzerland,fighting pedos),fighting the hardliners in da scene(respect is another HXC oat),children off the streets in bogota(benefit concert),amnesty international(benefit show)..So u can see that they are an all-round band…FUN &seriousness,loved&hated….but most of all DEDICATED TO HARDCORE LIFESTYLE………WORD UP !
