Sandy's Cats
Boo Boo: The
handsome black persian who turned his mama into a cat fanatic, lost his
battle with CRF and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy on Dec 11, 1998 at
age 10. He was the love of his mama's life, and the inspiration for the
Holisticat list.
Tasha: Daddy's much missed pretty blue-eyed tortie-point
Himalayan died on Jan 27, 1997 around age 9, of kidney failure 5 weeks
after she was diagnosed. She developed CRF quite suddenly after surgery
during which her teeth were also cleaned. We
miss her.
Missy: Born March 8, 1995 in Fresno, CA. She
is a purrfect example of her breed (American Short Hair) - sweet, affectionate,
beautiful, playful, and intelligent. She is a lap cat extraordinaire.
She squeaks for attention, and drags her toy behind her like it's her just
killed prey.
Pigpen: Born Feb. 6, 1996. A dark tortoiseshell exotic
Persian who came to us when her breeder died in early 1997. She's
the baby of the family, and will always be regardless of her age.
Hunny Bunny: Blue
cream Exotic Persian with teddy bear-like plush fur, born May 10, 1990
in Walnut, CA. She had several litters before her "retirement" 3
years ago. Now she is head of our kitty household, and is referred
to reverentially as "The Queen Mum". She is more playful
than most kittens and hops around on her thick solid back legs, like a
darling bunny rabbit.

And introducing Trikki Tikki Tabbi........ Trikki
was rescued from the pound by Persian Rescue. He looked so pathetic
with his shaved body, tousled head, and whiskers going every which way,
that we just couldn't resist bringing him home! He has fit right
in, and his fur is growing in fast and furious. He's going to be
a big red tabby Persian, and when his fur is all back, we'll post a new
picture of him so he can wow everyone. He is extremely playful and
mischievous; such a delight:)
