I use the Swedish massage technique, this massage focuses on the upper
body torso. An abbreviated form of the Swedish full body, a 30-45
minute session often fits into busy schedules more easily that the 1- 1
1/2 hours required for the traditional full body treatment. Draped
with a sheet, you'll lie on a comfortable padded table while I apply gliding,
kneading and rubbing strokes to your muscles and soft tissues. A
lubricating oil is used to soothe and reduce friction during the compression
and movemant of soft tissues. Often soothing music is played as well.
A typical full body lasts one hour. This form of therapeutic massage
is used to help relieve many specific problems, including low back pain,
migraines and muscle tension headaches, and neck and shoulder tension.
My regular clients have reported relief from tension, stress, anxiety and
a boost in energy and overall well-being. |
