Alyss: It had been several days since the fight. Alyss was still confined to her room at the rented house in Ravens Dale recovering from the concussion and wound that she had inflicted. She lies in bed asleep; the medicine the healer had given her makes her rather drowsy.

Endrek:*At the far corner of the room, a golden, semitransparent disc appears in the middle of the air. The disc descends, leaving Endrek there. He watches Alyss lying in bed, a worried look on his face*

Alyss:She stirs, stretches, and senses the presence of someone in the room. "Jacen?" she yawns, sitting up and pushing back some of her jet-black hair from her face. "Is that you?" As she opens her eyes, she spots Endrek standing there, a look of anger and dread crosses her features. "Get out of here."

Endrek:*He walks over to her, a look of love and worry on his face as he kneels next to her bed* "My love, are you alright?"

Alyss:She scoots to the opposite end of the bed, staying away from him. "I am fine. No thanks to you.. And stop calling me your love."

Endrek:*He looks into her eyes* "I love you, Alyss. Please don’t push me away" *He rises and sits on the bed next to her*

Alyss:But I don't love you. I dislike you very, very much." She immediately hops off the bed. Slipping her bare feet into her slippers, she grabs a red bow from the end table and pulls her hair up into a lose pony tail. "I..." she smirks at him. "Am in love with someone else."

Endrek:*He lowers his head, clenching his fist* "So it seems." *He turns his head towards her. Tears rolling down his face*

Alyss:She can only roll her eyes. She cared nothing for this man who waged war on her family's kingdom and people. Who attacked and killed her friends. Who murdered her own father with his bare hands? "You are really pathetic, Lord Darnan. Whatever made you think I would even be remotely interested in you?"

Endrek:*Her words hit him like a dagger. His eyes glows dark red as he rises to his feet and he grins with an almost insane look on his face* "Because I have power. Power like you could never imagine, my love. Power to vanquish all I wish. But I don’t, because I love you. And I don’t want this war to continue any longer. All I want is you"

Alyss:"Power you only got when you joined with the demons. And you shall never have me, Endrek. Nor will I ever love you. I love Jacen and he will protect me from you. And he will defeat you!"

Endrek:"And he will DIE. As will anyone who dares stand between us. You WILL marry me" *He voice grows deeper. His eyes darker*

Alyss:"I will NOT marry you," she scolds. "And Jacen will never die. He is a fantastic warrior and he loves me too. He will do everything in his power to keep me from you." She gave him a smug little smile. She was so certain and self-confident in her words.

Endrek:"Hah. That boy is nothing" *He stops. Grins slightly. Squints with one eye as he looks at her and goes "hmmm"* "Perhaps we could make you see this the right way. I have the power to bring someone back from the dead. And I would do this for you.... IF you agree to marry me and stop about this Jacen character"

Alyss:"You can?" she asks, tilting her head to the side. "Who?"

Endrek:*He grins. Knowing that this would attract her attention* "Your father"

Alyss:"Father?" she whimpers. Turning her gaze to the floor for a moment, she considers the possibility seriously. She would love to be able to see her father once again. But would he really be happy to be back here once again? And without mother?
Turning her gaze back up to Lord Darnan, she shakes her head. "No. Father is with mother and they are happy in heaven. I could never ask that. And I love Jacen. I want to marry him when I am old enough."

Endrek:"I could bring them both back" *He grins with satisfaction* "Just say yes, and I will bring them both back and the war will be over"

Alyss:"Would they be normal? Like before? Or will they look like the rest of those undead creatures you bring back?" Crossing her arms, she wasn't about to agree to anything until she asked all the questions she had.

Endrek:*He laughs softly* "They will be living, breathing, non-undead human beings. Like they were before"

Alyss:She takes a deep breath. "I.. I cannot accept your offer. It just wouldn't be right.. for them. And what would my sisters think? And Jacen... I love him far too much to give him up. So, my answer is No, Lord Darnan."

Endrek:*He clenches his teeth* "Nothing can please a spoiled brat, I guess. A murderer offers to repent his sins and offer the murdered back as well as his wife. A man, so much in love, offers anything the woman he loves wants. Her parents back. A war to come to an end. But due to selfishness she refuses" *He grins maniacally* "Then, dear princess. So be it"

Alyss:"I am not spoiled, Darnan. I just cannot accept your offer. It feels.. wrong. And I have faith in our armies that you will be defeated. Already, Queen Tamsin mobilizes against your armies. We will have you defeated within the month. No more will we just stand on the defensive. It's now we will act."

Endrek:"Pathetic creature. It is NOW you will die!" *He reaches out for her, too fast for the human eye to see, and grabs her by the throat. Lifting her into the air he looks into her eyes, his eyes aflame* "I offered you love and this is how you repay me. I offered peace and happiness and this is how you repay me. You, my dear, will die along with your pathetic sisters" *He then throws her on the bed as if she was no more than a piece of cloth*

Alyss:She yelps as she falls onto the bed, immediately sitting up. "Go ahead and kill me then. I see now how true your love for me really is. You are sad, Endrek. A sad, mean man..."

Endrek:"You wouldn’t know true love if it hit you over the head, princess. However. I wont kill you. I will kill every single one you love. Or have ever loved. I will break your heart as you have broken mine, Princess" *He sighs. Clenches his fists and teeth and sinks to the ground*

Jacen: Killing everyone she loves eh? Well...you'll find I'm not so easy *steeping out of a shadow with sword in hand he grins and watches the man* Now, kindly let Alyss go..

Alyss:"I do too know love! It is you who do not. You only know hate and death and evil. Your soul is so corrupt and black you do not know right any anymore. And you'll never be able to touch my friends and family."
"Jacen!" She beams and then looks to Darnan. "See, I told you he would come and protect me."

Endrek:He ignores Alyss's words, rising to his feet* "Ah. The bastard comes for his whore" *He turns towards Jacen* "We were just talking about you. How much it would pleasure us to kill you" *He says we, meaning himself. A true sign of a mind gone mad with power*

Jacen: glancing briefly her way he nods* Of course its what I'm paid for... Hmm... bastard, nope sorry, and Alyss is not a whore. Now please let her go, perhaps we can talk this over

Endrek:"I want nothing to do with her. And there will be no more talk" *His eyes glow, he reaches out his hand and an invisible hand seems to grab Jacen. Endrek then moves his hand in a swift movement towards the wall and the invisible hand flings Jacen into it*

Jacen: Oooff! *He slams hard into the wall but as a seasoned warrior he manages to keep a grip in his sword* Okay, I guess we fight then...

Endrek:*He sneers* "You just don’t get it, do you. I fight, you DIE" *He pulls his hands back. When he once again moves them forward a ball of lighting erupts from them*

Alyss:Alyss slides from her bed and runs to her closet to get her katana. "I'll help you, Jacen. This guy has gone completely bonkers."

Jacen: Holy sh..!*He rolls down and to the side out of the way then springs forward lunging toward the man's heart with his sword*

Endrek:Without turning his head he moves a hand her way* "And you" *An invisible hand closes around her waist and she cant move. Then it lifts her up and pins her against the ceiling* "Don’t move" *He smirks slightly*
*Being busy with Alyss, he doesn’t notice the sword coming. The blade penetrating his chest. His heart* "Gnnnh" *His eyes fly open and he sinks to his knees, then slumps slightly*

Alyss:"Damn you, Endrek," Alyss grumbles, being stuck up on the ceiling, she had no other option than to just wait for Jacen to win...

Jacen: *gritting his teeth he drives the blade in deeper then twist the sword and yanks it upward fully intending to rip the man in half*

Endrek:*The blade easily cuts through him and Endrek is cut in half. Blood goes everywhere. The halves sliding to the ground with a sickening sound*

Alyss:"Ouch..." she whispers, watching the scene below her.

Jacen: *breathing heavily he steps back away from the dead man then looks up at Alyss and wonders why the magic is still holding her there*

Alyss:I can't get down, Jacen," she squirms against the hold still on her. "Are you alright?" Smiling down at him.

Endrek:*As the man steps back a soft gurgling sound can be heard from the halves of Endrek. Slowly they seem to melt together until he once again is whole. What was heard as a gurgling was in fact, and this is realized only once his throat and mouth is "melted together", Endrek laughing. He rises to his feet*

Jacen: Ahh crap! *Readying himself in a fighting stance Jacen looks around for anything that can help him*

Endrek:*He laughs and as he reaches out for Jacen, sharp thorns burst forth from his fingertips* "Die you pathetic creature"

Jacen: *he winces as some of the thorns connect then he slashes at the outstretched arm of his foe* Endrek:*The blade cuts through. But the arm immediately connects back with his arm. Endrek steps closer and strikes Jacen backhanded over the face with inhuman strength ((Probably not harming Jacen except that he would be flung away))*

Jacen: *he stumbles away tasting the blood that comes to his mouth* Well, you are harder than I thought.

Endrek:"I don’t have time for this. You will die eventually. I have more important things to deal with" *He raises his hand. A golden disc appears and as it goes down, he vanishes* *As he is gone, his magick hold on Alyss disappears and she goes crashing to the floor*

Alyss:Lands with an oomph. "Owww!"

Jacen:*He runs to her side and crouches down* Are you okay Alyss?

Alyss:She nods and pushes herself up to sitting. "Yes.. I am fine," she turns her face to him and smiles. "I didn't do anything this time. I was sleeping and resting like you told me to. He just showed up without warning!"

Jacen:*He smiles and nods* That’s okay, ya know I really, really hate him.

Alyss:"So do I, Jacen." She wraps her arms around him and hugs him tightly. "But he'll be defeated. Besides, I don't think he'll be sneaking around me anymore."
