Thanks to the
double blessing of a CD burner and a cable modem, I
haven't bought a new album in months now. Not that
I could if I wanted to, because all the bands I
like now are obscure, odd, and have teensy little
followings and no major-label releases. So I rely
on the internet for my Magnetic Fields fix, my
Shades Apart and Velvet Chain mp3s, my live bootleg
versions of everything, and oh so much more.
