Hollow Bones got started about three years ago when Steve LaZar and Eric Wilmoth, both avid guitartists and singer/songwriters, hooked up and discovered they had a similar love of music and improvisation. Steve, originally from Chicago and Eric from Hawaii, started playing and writing music together and have not looked back since.

Discovering that they had a mutual love of bands such as the Grateful Dead, the Allman Brothers, CSNY,  and other highly improvisational jam bands, Steve and Eric decided that the only thing they could do was play their own music but use the inspiration of their favorite bands to lead them on.

It's been a long road so far. Playing with some of the best musicians in the Denver area, Steve and Eric, under the name Hollow Bones, have had more line ups than the local police department. Still searching for the perfect crew to back them up they still seem to be able to pull off great gig after great gig.
