Our boys basketball team had one of the best seasons in Holly's history last year. Throughout the season we had many ups and downs. After beating Sargent at regionals we went into the state tournament ranked 7th but stunned Ellicot the number 2 seat with a score of 60 to 48. We ended up with a 16 and 8 record and came home from state basketball championships being ranked fourth. We accomplished many things as a team and Doug Eastin was named Denver Post MVP of 2A Basketball. In the '99-'00 season we are expecting to have another good season, with three returning starters: Dusty Heck, Tim McCormick, and Greg McCormick.
