In this fourth installment of the Child's Play franchise, Chucky's old girlfriend from his human days retrieves his remains and revives him from the dead. He turns out to be less than grateful after he kills her and puts her spirit into a female doll. The two then begin a cross-country killing spree with hopes of re-entering their old human bodies.
