Tonci is also a member of Magazin and owns a record company, Tonika, who represent not only Magazin but Minea among others - although two of their highest-profile names, Danijela Martinovic and Petar Grašo, split from Tonika in 2000.  He attracted some criticism in 1999 for being allowed three songs in Dora and for the argument over the prerecorded vocals on Marija Magdalena.

Tonci has also arranged several pieces for "Bond" and classical pianist Maksim Mrvica.
